Onono

ONONO is the moniker of multi-instrumentalist Jonathan Nott, drummer for NZ Pop act BROODS. In late 2016 ONONO burst onto the NZ scene with the release of a seven track LP Bad Posture , and have followed with STAND, a 5 track EP released 2018.
The band has manifested in multiple forms. Once a 5 piece psych rock band with lots of guitars, it is now a 4 piece synth pop machine playing songs from a new body of work.


He has brought this experience and live format to ONONO making for an exciting slick live show. This new iteration of the live band has the energy and dancibility of ROBYN and Toro Y Moi balanced with the delicacy and space of Bon Iver and Little Dragon.
Leading the new body of work is FONTELINA, an 80’s throwback pop anthem and LUV ME 2, a groovin’ dance track.
